The pages contained in this book are like a time capsule taking you back in time to the 1980’s when Calvary Christian Center was beginning to experience manifestations of spiritual gifts within the church. The gift of prophecy was one of those gifts that began to operate frequently. For those of you who were part of Calvary at that time, you will certainly recall these prophetic words and have witnessed their impact upon this local church.

Some of the contents of these prophetic words helped launch Calvary into areas that we now consider to be part of our DNA. They will forever be a part of who we are at the core. There were also many promises given within these words. Some have come to pass, and others are yet to be seen. Along with these promises, many tasks were also given that are uniquely connected to these promises. After reviewing these prophetic words, we were challenged and inspired to see all that God had done. We were also reminded of things that we had forgotten. One thing we know for sure is that God has been leading us through these many years and He has used these prophetic words to guide us into His purposes and direction.

Calvary firmly believes that there is no substitute for the written Scriptures. They are our absolute standard and guide to faith and practice. No true prophecy can ever contradict the written Word of God. If it does, the Scriptures prove it to be wrong. However, God is absolutely committed to guiding us as we learn to hear his voice. When we learn to recognize that voice, submit it to the Scripture and align with what God has said, we can be confident that He will do what He says He will do.

As you look through these prophetic words, one thing you should do is begin to pray in alignment with what the Lord has said. When we speak and decree in alignment with God’s plans and purposes, we can break through the barriers the enemy tries to raise against us and step into the will and plan of God. From this place, we can wage effective war against the enemy of our souls and cooperate with the divine plan of God seeing His kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.

This book is one that will continue to evolve as time passes. New prophetic words will come and older ones will be discovered. As this happens, we will add them to this text.
